As book lovers, I’m sure a lot of us ask for books during the holidays.  That’s great, and it’s great to actually receive the books we’ve asked for!  But as the saying goes, it’s better to give than to receive.  Who did you last give a book to, and what book was it?

I did give books for Christmas this year.

I gave my mom Necessary Lies by Diane Chamberlain, because she just finished up her degree in Human Services and is now considering pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work.

My boyfriend is constantly saying that he has nothing to read, so I gave him a whole stack of books.  He got the Revelation Space trilogy by Alastair Reynolds, the Riyria Revelations series by Michael J. Sullivan, and The Thousand Names by Django Wexler.
