It’s only December 4, and already I’m feeling the holiday pressure. I have my company’s holiday party tonight, I have to get my house decorated, figure out who’s coming and where I’m going and when, get my Christmas shopping done (and the gifts I’m DIYing made)… the list goes on.

I don’t know how much I’m going to read this month as it is, so I think it’s best to put this challenge on hold for now. It’s become more of a nagging pest than a fun way to expand my horizons and save money. I am partially done with one of the books I’d chosen for December – The Taming of the Shrew

– and I do plan to finish it.. We’ll call this month a partial success.

I’ll resume in January once all the craziness has calmed down.
