Tag: Romance Readers Book Tag

THEOFFICEBOOKTAG (1)

First off, a big thank you to Leslie for thinking of me with this tag! ❤ We all know that I’m a big fan of romance and I love talking about romance books, so here goes.

WHAT AGE DID YOU START TO READ ROMANCE NOVELS?
I started reading straight-up romance novels, like Nicholas Sparks, when I was about 13 years old.

IF YOU COULD PICK ONE HERO TO MEET FROM YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVELS, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I think I use this in every tag ever, but I would love to meet Michael Phan from The Kiss Quotient.

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE AUTHORS AND WHY?

  • Jenn Bennett writes perfect YA romances and I will always love her books.
  • Krista & Becca Ritchie write some of the best NA romances I’ve ever read.
  • R.S. Grey is the queen of romantic comedies.

WHAT IS A FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVEL TO RE-READ?
I don’t really do re-reads! If I were going to re-read anything, it would probably be The Hating Game.

WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO A NON-ROMANCE READER?
You’re shocked, I know, but probably The Hating Game!

WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE: CONTEMPORARY, SUSPENSE, HISTORICAL AND WHY?
I love contemporary romances! They’re just usually so cute and you don’t have to deal with a bunch of nonsense like you do in some of the sub-genres.

I’m not tagging anybody today, but if you feel like answering these questions, please consider yourself tagged! Let me know in the comments if we agree or disagree about anything! And, as always, please let me know if you like tags so that I can tag you in a bunch of stuff in the future. ❤

Yay, I’m glad I remembered to tag you on this one! I am going to add, The Hating Game, to my buy list. You have talked about it so much! haha. I didn’t find it at Half Price Books and I had it in my Book Outlet order but it sold out before I could check out! LOL. The library copy that came in was so gross. So, I’m going to have to order it through Amazon or wait to get off the ebook wait list. This book has been a struggle, like Evelyn Hugo! haha.

I know! I never stop talking about The Hating Game! I only have a Kindle copy and I want to buy my own physical copy, too. I couldn’t find it at the fancy bookstore downtown (not surprising, they don’t even have a romance section) so I might go to B&N or just get it from Amazon.

And I’m STILL waiting for Evelyn Hugo at my library, but I know it’s going to be worth it!!

Man, I’m glad I’m not the only one who had such a hard time finding a physical copy. I was thinking it was the universe telling me not to read it. haha!

Oh gosh! I had to wait 3 1/2 months to get it from my library. Don’t worry, it’s SO worth it!! 🙂

The Hating Game moves higher and higher up my TBR every time you mention it! I’m struggling to get into any of the books I’ve started at the moment, so I might just have to grab it on my Kindle and see if some contemporary romance is what I need!
