Top Ten Tuesday: Bingeworthy TV shows

Happy Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s theme is bingeworthy TV shows, which is a huge change in topics for me! I don’t watch a ton of TV (one of the reasons why I have so much time to read) but I can definitely give you a list of ten shows that I’ve loved over the years.

Riverdale | I’m probably crazier about Riverdale than I am about any other show. I’ve successfully convinced a few of my friends to watch it, and now we’re all constantly talking about it and texting each other during the episodes. It’s great.

Bob’s Burgers | Bob’s Burgers is legitimately one of my favorite shows ever. I just love it so much. If I’m in a bad mood, an episode of Bob’s Burgers can always cheer me up.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt | Admittedly, I like the earlier seasons better than the more recent episodes, but I still love this show. I love how Kimmy is stuck in the 90s and says the most ridiculous things. Also, I feel like that gif is me.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer | It’s a throwback! I actually did binge-watch all of Buffy followed by all of Angel right after I moved to New Jersey. I highly recommend it. Buffy is my favorite.

Veronica Mars | It’s another throwback! I binged Veronica Mars right after I moved to New Jersey too. I guess, looking back, I did that with a lot of shows when I moved here.

The Good Place | There’s some vintage Kristen Bell up above and now here’s some more recent Kristen Bell. I love The Good Place. I love every character. I love the humor. I love everything about it.

Community | I don’t know if I’ve ever been so sad about a show’s cancellation as I was when Community was canceled. Please bring it baaack.

Pushing Daisies | During the summer before my last year of college, I had a job working the desk for the university’s summer conferences. It was seriously the best job ever because they paid me to sit there and read and watch Netflix and sometimes answer the phone if it rang and sometimes tell people where the nearest Starbucks was. This is one of many shows that I watched on my shifts.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend | This show is hilarious and also it’s a musical and also I love every character.

One Day at a Time | Elena is my favorite person. I wish she was real and that we could be friends. I guess I have to settle for binging an entire season of this show in one day and then waiting a year for the next season.

Awesome list! I forgot about Veronica Mars and I almost put The Good Place on my list! My husband and I both love that one. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is so funny! I can’t believe this will be the last season!

We have such similar tastes in shows! I’m currently watching Season 2 of Riverdale after convincing myself I didn’t want to watch anymore (which didn’t work, clearly). I also adore Community and was equally as heartbroken when it was cancelled. The Good Place is so good too, and I also put Pushing Daisies on my Top Ten list!!

I was finally ready to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I looked it up on Netflix a week or two ago and discovered it wasn’t there anymore D:

Community is one I’ve wanted to start for ages but it’s never been on Netflix that I’m aware and that’s the only streaming website I have, aside from Amazon Prime, which barely counts. They have so few things…Urgh!

God I haven’t thought about Veronica Mars in ages but I used to looove that show, that was a great throwback! I’ve been meaning to watch the Good Place for ages, everyone says it’s amazing I’m just really slow about getting into new shows for some reason. My girlfriend loves Bob’s Burgers so much she quotes it sometimes, and I have yet to watch a single episode, it makes me feel a little bad.

Thanks for dropping by Sara! I actually haven’t seen many of these (except for Buffy!)- but I think I’ll have to check out Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Much like her- I love the 90s.

I started binge-watching Teen Wolf about 3 weeks ago and I only have a few episodes of the last season to finish. This show is so good! And it doesn’t hurt that there is a LOT of eye-candy. I thought my werewolf love had died with Jacob lol, but Scott McCall has resurrected it :-).

Oh my goodness what a fun prompt!! I ADORE Buffy & probably have seen them all 3-4 times. I loved Angel too but after the first couple seasons it got weird & I stopped watching it. Unfortunately, samsies goes for Kimmy Schmidt… I haven’t even seen the latest season BUT the first season was pretty much the funniest thing ever. My favorite was when she made Frasier references… just thinking about it makes me laugh. More recently, I binge watched Once Upon A Time right before the baby was born. The first 3-4 season of that one were pretty good 🙂

My never-ending love for Buffy and all things Buffy is a strong one! And yes to The Good Place! I can’t wait until the next season.

I watched the first episode of Pushing Daisies ages ago and really loved it, I’m now trawling Netflix to see if they have it because I’ve recently had an overwhelming urge to watch the entire series and this post has just reaffirmed it for me!

Omg, love your list of shows! I’m a huge TV Nerd and I’ll admit I’ve watched most of the series you mentioned.

So pumped for the Veronica Mars revival! I still haven’t watched the movie yet though. I have to get on that. LoL.

Jan the Backpack is probably now one of my favorite characters on a show, LoL. So sad the next season of Kimmy Schmidt is the last. And I will totally miss Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Fun post. My granddaughter watches lots of those shows, but I’ve only watched The Good Place. It’s fun. My granddaughter decided we wanted to binge watch something together and have started watching Grey’s Anatomy. Three seasons in two weeks of after school watching. It may take all year. There are 14 seasons and more coming! Thanks for the post.
