I will second the recommendation of The Kite Runner, as it is one of the most genuinely moving books I have ever read. I cry a lot at books so I’m probably not the best person to judge this by, but this book didn’t just make me cry – I sobbed my heart out! If you enjoy it, Hosseini’s ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ is equally amazing, if not even better ❤📚

Oh my goodness, that’s definitely a recommendation! I’ve had The Kite Runner for years and haven’t read it, so I’ll have to add it to my 2019 TBR! ❤

I also recommend The Kite Runner. It’s been quite a few years since I read it, but it really sticks with you. Actually, everything I’ve read from Khaled Hosseini has been great!
