Laura Beth’s Questions
What is your dream novel, or idea for a novel?
My dream novel would be a romance (obviously). Two of my favorite tropes are friends-to-lovers and relationships developing through text messages, so it would definitely have to feature that. Neither of the characters think the relationship is going to happen, but then it just kind of does and there’s none of that “oh, but what about our friendship???” nonsense. It also has to have just enough slow burn and sexual tension to drive me crazy without being over-the-top.
Which fictional world would you want to live in?
I’ve said it before, but I’d love to live in Red London from V.E. Schwab’s Shades of Magic series.
What is your preference: The beach, or the mountains?
If I get a cozy cabin and don’t need to do any actual hiking, I’d go with the mountains. If I’m expected to enjoy the setting, I’d go with the beach.
What is your favorite vacation memory?
I think every trip I’ve taken to Tennessee has been my favorite. I have great memories of visiting Dollywood, seeing a Christmas light show in Nashville, and just doing fun things like ice skating and axe throwing. ❤
Where is one place in your state or area you’ve never visited?
I’ve lived in New Jersey for the last seven years of my life and I think I’ve done most of the touristy things here by now. One place that people talk about visiting that I haven’t done yet is Hershey, PA. It’s not super close to me, but it’s also not too far away.
What was your favorite toy when you were younger?
Probably my Beanie Babies! Unsurprisingly, I had all the cats.
Which fictional character would you want to date?
I definitely prefer my real, living, breathing boyfriend over fictional characters, but if I absolutely had to choose a fictional character to date… I might go with Michael Phan from The Kiss Quotient.
