Tag: The Bookish Adventure

Thanks to Bibi and Siobhan for tagging me to do The Bookish Adventure book tag about… seven months ago. I’m finally doing it!

The rules:

Imagine that you are an intrepid literary adventurer- braving the harsh bookish wilderness, traversing jungles of pages and slashing through vines of words. Where in the vast world of books would you go?

  • Write about one place mentioned in a book you wish you could visit and why.
  • List 3-5 things that you would do there.
  • Mention which souvenirs, if any, you would bring back with you.
  • Then tag some more literary explorers and please link back to the creator (Umairah @ Sereadipity) so I can see all of your adventures!

My dream bookish destination:

I thought about this a lot and consulted with my boyfriend, and we came up with OASIS from Ready Player One.

Things I would do:

What can’t you do in OASIS? First, I’d probably go to Ludus and take a look around the libraries. Second, I’d go to the Basement so I can play all of the cool vintage video games. Third, I’d probably just do a bunch of stuff I can’t do in real life, like teleport and fly and do magic.

Souvenirs:

Since this is a virtual reality, I don’t think I can really take any souvenirs, but I’d have a lot of fun!

I was tagged to do this forever ago, so I’m not going to tag anybody, but please feel free to steal this tag if you think it looks fun! Where would you take your bookish adventure? What would you do while there? Let’s talk in the comments!
