Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I’ve read the most books by

Happy Top Ten Tuesday! This week’s theme is authors I’ve read the most books by.

Fun fact: we did this theme about five years ago and my most-read authors were mainly from my childhood. In the interest of not just redoing that post, I’m going to exclude authors who I haven’t read in the last five years.

Another fun fact: Since Goodreads got rid of the most-read author feature, you can import your library here and Bookstats will tell you not only how many books you’ve read, but also the number of pages and your average rating for that author!

I’ve read seven books by this author duo with an average rating of 4.1 stars.

9. Maggie Stiefvater

I’ve read seven of Maggie’s books with an average rating of 4.3 stars.

8. B.B. Hamel

B.B. was one of my go-to authors during my smut phase. I haven’t read anything by her in a while, but I’ve read nine of her books with an average rating of 3 stars.

7. Sarah Dessen

It’s no surprise that Sarah Dessen is on this list! I’ve been reading her books since I was in middle school. I’ve read nine of them with an average rating of 4 stars.

6. Libba Bray

I’ve been reading Libba’s books since I was in high school! To date, I’ve read nine with an average rating of 4.1 stars.

5. C.S. Pacat

C.S. Pacat made this list solely because of Fence. I’ve read ten issues of that with an average rating of 3.4 stars.

4. R.S. Grey

I think we all know I love R.S. Grey! I’ve read 11 of her books with an average rating of 4.3 stars.

3. Marissa Meyer

Somehow I have read 14 things by Marissa Meyer with an average rating of 3.9 and I still got declined for an ARC of Instant Karma. But it’s fine.

2. Brian K. Vaughan

In case my incessant posts about it didn’t make it clear, I’m pretty obsessed with Saga. I also really liked Paper Girls. So it’s not really a surprise that Brian K. Vaughan is near the top of my list. I’ve read 15 of his graphic novels with an average rating of 3.8 stars.

1. Krista & Becca Ritchie

When it comes to obsession, I don’t think there’s an author I’ve been more obsessed with than Krista & Becca Ritchie. I’ve been really disappointed by their last few releases, so I’m leaning toward not reading any more of their books, but I have read EIGHTEEN books by them with an average of 4.1 stars.
