It’s time for another WWW Wednesday!

What are you currently reading?

  • Begin Again by Emma Lord: I thought this would follow the Taylor Swift song, but it doesn’t so far (and that’s fine). I do wonder if it will eventually since I know Emma Lord is a Swiftie! Either way, it’s good so far and I’m sure I’ll end up enjoying it.
  • Go Ask Alice by Beatrice Sparks: I was very curious after reading Unmask Alice, but this is not good and I will probably DNF it.

What did you recently finish reading?

  • Nothing in the last week!

What do you think you’ll read next?

  • Built to Last by Erin Hahn: Still planning on picking this one up next!
  • The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood: I’m a little nervous since I’ve seen some very mixed reviews! But my hold just came in at the library, so fingers crossed I like it!

It’s time for another WWW Wednesday!

What are you currently reading?

  • Begin Again by Emma Lord: I thought this would follow the Taylor Swift song, but it doesn’t so far (and that’s fine). I do wonder if it will eventually since I know Emma Lord is a Swiftie! Either way, it’s good so far and I’m sure I’ll end up enjoying it.

What did you recently finish reading?

  • Unmask Alice by Rick Emerson: This was honestly the best nonfiction I’ve read since Bad Blood. I want to go read Go Ask Alice now that I know what went on behind the scenes!
  • Angelika Frankenstein Makes Her Match by Sally Thorne: This was a DNF. I might try it again later, or I might just pretend it never happened and read a different Sally Thorne book from my shelf.

What do you think you’ll read next?

  • Built to Last by Erin Hahn: My library just fulfilled my request to buy this one and the copy my husband preordered just showed up! I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while now!

  • Unmask Alice by Rick Emerson: I’m almost done with this one and it’s still so good! Such scandal! So many little threads branching out and coming back together! And sass!!!
  • Angelika Frankenstein Makes Her Match by Sally Thorne: It pains me to say it, but I will probably end up DNFing this one. My library book is due back this Friday and 21 people have holds on it, so I won’t be getting it back any time soon! I’m definitely not enjoying it enough to justify buying it (or I would have finished it by now).

  • Begin Again by Emma Lord: I’m still thinking I’ll read this one next! I want to finish my library books first though!

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

  • Gaia by Isabel & Imogen Greenberg
  • Broken (In the Best Possible Way) by Jenny Lawson: Despite my love for Jenny Lawson, this was a surprising DNF (or maybe more of a pause). My brain cannot handle the chaos of this book right now.
  • Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero: Another DNF. I was just bored with this one, I didn’t like any of the characters, and the whole half novel/half screenplay thing just wasn’t working for me.
