Tag: A Book for All Occasions

Thanks to Leslie for tagging me to do the a book for all occasions tag, way back in April! ❤ One day I will finally get caught up on my tags! 🙂

Also, fun fact! This is my 2000th post on this blog! I cannot believe I’ve had so many things to say over the years!

Rules:

  • Answer the questions below
  • Tag at least five people to continue the tag
  • Give credit where credit is due – it will make Hannah smile.

Name a book that makes you cry.

Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren

It’s hard to believe that I read this two and a half years ago already, but Love and Other Words made me cry so much.

Name a book that makes you smile.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

I think I smiled the whole way through Heartstopper.

Name a book that makes you feel passionate.

Rules for Being a Girl by Candace Bushnell & Katie Cotugno

Rules for Being a Girl made me so angry. I feel like it called out the unfair expectations placed on teenage girls really well.

Name a book that makes you feel cosy.

Book Love by Debbie Tung

Book Love just makes me want to curl up in my bed and read.

Name a book that transports you to a magical place.

Nimona by Noelle Stevenson

Definitely Nimona! Nimona’s powers are so cool.

Name a book that scared you.

172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad

I hardly ever read anything spooky, but 172 Hours on the Moon got me.

Name a book that makes you feel jealous.

More Than Maybe by Erin Hahn

It was my dream to be a music journalist when I was younger, so I am definitely jealous of Vada in More Than Maybe!

Name a book with an inspiring female character.

The Story That Cannot Be Told by J. Kasper Kramer

Ileana does not give up in The Story That Cannot Be Told!

Name a book with an inspiring male character.

Saga, Vol. 1 (Saga Collected Editions, #1)

I think Nick from The Extraordinaries is really inspiring. He just keeps trying and trying and trying for his goal, regardless of any setbacks.

What’s a book that made you feel passionate? What about a book that made you feel cozy? Let’s talk in the comments!

This sounds like it would be a good tag to do, it’s always interesting to see what books people turn to or what sort of books will make someone cry. And congrats on the 2000th post!
