Monthly Favorites: January 2019

Choosing my favorites from January was a little difficult since I didn’t really fall in love with anything that I read, but here are the best two books that I read!

Saga, Vol. 9 by Brian K. Vaughan

I tried reading The Cruel Prince twice, but I haven’t been able to finish it. I’ve been hearing that it picks up a lot towards the end so I’m going to give it one more shot and hopefully I’ll get more into it this time around! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂

My favourite book in January was The Raven Boys by Maggie Stievalker. This was a surprise since I don’t usually like paranormal! (But again, it’s been some time since I last read one. Maybe my tastes have changed). Anyways, I really loved the book and it’s become one of my favourites. I intend to continue with the series.

I ended up really liking All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda. It took me way too long to read it! It was originally a Christmas present from Al in 2017. I abandoned it last summer, but I was determined to finish it this time. I had my struggles with it, but I think it’s a decent book, especially it being her debut novel for adults. My review will be posted soon!
