Thank you so much to Heran for nominating me for the Unique Blogger Award! This is always a fun tag to do. 🙂

- Answer the questions they’ve written for you!
8-13bloggers and give them three questions in the spirit of sharing love and solidarity within our blogging family!
3 questions from Heran:
What’s the best and what’s the worst book you’ve read so far this year? And why?
Setting aside all literary merit and objectivity, based solely on the way they made me feel, the best would have to be Bloom and the worst would have to be Little Birds.
Bloom made me smile all the way through. I loved that it featured a love interest who really enjoys baking, and I also thought it was super cute.
Little Birds was the least erotic erotica I’ve ever read and it was just one cringy moment after another. I guess if you’re into pedophilia, racism, and bestiality, you might go for it, but if you’re not… I’d just steer as clear as you possibly can.
At what time of the day do you like to read most? Morning, afternoon, evening? Why?
I usually get the most reading done in the evening after everything that needs to be done is done. I have trouble focusing on a book when I know that there are other things — cleaning, shopping, etc. — that need my attention more than the book does.
If your life was a book, what would its title be?
I think I’ve answered this question before, and I said something sassy, like Let’s Pretend That Never Happened.
- What book are you most looking forward to in 2020?
- Do you have any bookish events coming up? If not, what bookish event would you most like to attend?
- What is your favorite trope and some examples of books you think do it well?
I’m taking a break from tagging people, but if you like tags and I never tag you, please let me know! If you want to answer these questions, please feel free and make sure to tag me in your post so I can see your answers. ❤

Bloom sounds super lovely! Added to my TBR! I also like to read in the evening, sometimes I don’t mind reading in the morning, though, when it’s still silent out.
“Let’s Pretend That Never Happened.” A good title hahah I genuinely couldn’t come up with anything!
