Every time I do one of these monthly page count posts, I wonder how it’s possible that another month has gone by. This month, I also wonder how it’s possible that I read seven books in the first seven days of July and hardly anything in the last seven days. I might be in a little bit of a slump. Please tell my manager I need to take some time off to catch up on my reading.Β π

How did July go for you? Did you read as much as you’d hoped?
Wow so many books!! What did you think of the Rupi Kaur and Amanda Lovelace books? I’ve always been interested but never picked them up…

I was kind of indifferent to the Rupi Kaur (I expected to like it a lot more than I did) and I loved The Princess but did not like The Witch. So I guess I was all over the place!

Hmmm thatβs really interesting because theyβre all so hyped up haha
Thanks for your help!!β€οΈ

I did really well in July. I never thought about a page count post, what a fun idea. I’ve slowed down on reading again, though. Lol. I guess that’s the way it goes!

That really does seem to be the way it goes! I always find the page count interesting. I think it’s a more accurate way to measure how much I read than just counting the number of books. π

Love this idea! Another fun thing to track! And now this is twice in two days someone has mentioned Rupi Kaur. Must be a sign I need to do some research on this author! π€

I’ve seen people talking about her recently too! I liked Milk and Honey a lot more than The Sun and Her Flowers. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on if you decide to pick up either of her collections!

Adding both to my toppling and teetering TBR!

IΒ΄ve read The Witch DoesnΒ΄t Burn In This One, The Catcher In The Rye and The Pawn. And I definitely have 1 or 2 from your July list on my TBR list ( recognized the covers * hiding face * )
What an impressive page count! My July reads werenΒ΄t too special. IΒ΄ve been keeping it short and light because itΒ΄s too hot to read atm. * sigh * Great post! β€

Oh good! Which ones are on your TBR? And thank you! I had some time off, which helped. π

I have Darius the Great is Not Okay lined up this month. But, in all honesty Sara, how do you do it? 20 books in a month is simply amazing. Great job! π

Thank you! Someone asked me that on Twitter earlier today. My response was that I have no social life and rarely sleep. π And I hope you like Darius! β€οΈ

I haven’t heard of that Taylor Swift one but it looks like a hoot, how was it?

Yikes, you’ve read a lot of books! I’ve also been in a bit of a reading slump lately, but I could only wish to achieve a fifth of you have here!

I had a lot of time off in July, which definitely helped! The slump happened when I had to go back to work. π
