I’ve seen this ABC Book Challenge on a lot of different blogs, but most recently Thrice Read. It’s hard to believe this is already week three of this challenge!!

- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
- Catch and Release by Laura Drewry
- The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
- Cress by Marissa Meyer
✰ Books on my TBR starting with C ✰
- The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
- The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen
- The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall
- A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
- Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
Have you read anything that’s on my TBR? Which books should I read first? Do you agree or disagree with my favorites? Let’s talk in the comments!
Oh fun! Might have to start this too, even if I’m a little late to the challenge 🙂

Omg, it makes me sooo happy to see a Laura Drewry book in here!! I hardly ever come across her books. I’ve loved this trilogy so so much! Wish there’d be printed copies so I could add them to my shelves!
Curious to see what you’ll think of a court of thorns and roses. The city of brass is still on my tbr. Cruel beauty was not entirely my thing unfortunately, despite me loving BatB retellings in general.

I love Laura Drewry! I’ve read so many of her books and they’re all great. 😊
I’m curious to see what I’ll think of ACoTaR too! I’m enjoying the a Throne of Glass series, but I’ve seen some really mixed reviews of that one.

I really loved acotar but Throne of Glass is soo much better in my opinion. But the acotar books are such amazing reads as well and I really fell in love with it too when I first read it – which was after I’ve read the first ToG books so the acotar one wasn’t my first Maas experience. I think it depends a bit on which Maas books you’ve read first. A lot of people who haven’t read the ToG books fall in love so hard with the acotar ones and remain preferring the the acotar books and the other way around as well with the readers who read the ToG books first haha. Curious to see what you’ll think of it knowing you’ve read ToG already! I think acotar was amazing, the second book was the best and the third was still great but a bit of a let down regarding being a final installment. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series that focuses on other characters!

You’re not the first person who’s said that! I want to finish ToG before I jump into ACoTaR, but it’s probably going to be on my TBR for early next year.

The City of Brass is okay. I finally finished it and it’s really slow paced so I don’t blame anyone for wanting to DNF it because of that pacing issue

Good to know! I’ve seen really mixed reviews and I think I still want to read it, but it’s not at the top of my list.
